Hey everybody, I need a little help.
Im trying to build a stocker (96 Formula LT1) and i was looking for a set of racing springs for the rear. I replaced the 10 bolt with a Strange 12 bolt and bought double adjustable Strange Shocks and Struts for all four corners. Im assuming there is a reduced spring weight replacement that everybody is running. I have called a few places they have aftermarket springs for the street but not strictly for a drag racing application. QA1 said he had stuff for the front but not the rear. If somebody could help me out with a phone number or company that i can contact, i would be most appreciative. Im currently working in WV but the car is back in Texas. Its kinda hard trying to order parts and stuff when i have nothing to look at and measure, lol. Oh yeah, looking for a new torque arm also. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, Chris |

I had a set of 1990 Camaro V6 springs in my '96 TA. Forgot how much thinner wire they were wound from (seems like .040" 0r .050"), but were the same deminsions otherwise.

I use V6 springs in my bracket car and that is what I have put in my 95 stocker that I am building as well. As far as torque arm I have the S&W Racecars stuff on both cars too (subframe connectors,LCA's, torque arm panhard bar ect) If you buy the whole kit from them you will save yourself some money.
