3rd generation Camaro throttle linkage

Are most people in stock and super stock,with carburators, using the factory throttle cable or are you fabricating mechanical linkage?

I use the factory linkage. It's still available from any GM dealer. Go to the parts counter and order one from a 83-84 camaro-firebird, they are $19.75 each.. they also fit 93-2002 F cars...buy 2 and leave 1 for backup...you never know...Luke SS 311

Thanks Luke. I am chasing an inconsistency problem and just checking all the possibilities.
