Default Stocker Help Needed

We were recently able to make shake down runs only at St Pete due to timing system being down.. but I would like feed back on anything that you all see that might be of some help with suspension or in general that you think we need to fix. Have done a lot of work in the off time and would appreciate the feedback...

Thanks --

Wink Re: Stocker Help Needed

Glad you've got the car out and are getting some runs on it. It looks a little high in the back to me,,,I've looked at cars like Fletchers, DeFranks, and Sorensens, among others, and they sit lower. I've got a friend with a 69' thats using the Cal-Trac bars and split leafs and it too is higher than he'd like, and also needs to center the tire in the wheelwell. Hes' just running a bracket motor until he gets the suspension figured out,,,at least your car isn't porposing (I know, spelled wrong) up and down after launching, which is another problem he has,,,his front end is too tight. I'm guessing eventually he'll get the right combo of split springs in there to bring it down. Good luck with your Camaro,,,I love those things.

Get your camera man (or wife) to get real close to the rear tires on launch and paint a hash mark on the slicks. And daylight would be better also.

We are going to try to change the suspension a little before we run again. Thanks again for the advice.
