Default Csr??

So what's up with CSR.. called to order a replacement HIGH DOLLAR lighted tire pressure gauge and was told it would ship in 10 days to 2 weeks.. I asked why so long, and was told that they are having trouble with a distributor..

Called the next day to order a replacement 8-bolt water pump assy and was again told it would ship in 10 days to 2 weeks.. today is 4 weeks later.. I called to check on my order and was told they are not available yet.. I asked for an entire BBC water pump and was told it might be available in 2 to 4 weeks, but not likely..

I asked if the rumor about CSR going out of business was true.. I was told "Oh no sir, we just don't have any parts to sell, we're having a problem with a distributor".. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE OUT OF BUSINESS TO ANYONE ELSE BUT ME!!

HEY ROLAND!!!!... WHAT"S UP??

Thumbs down Re: Csr??

Probably a problem with the distributer wanting to get paid. ...Kind of like me , still waiting to get paid by CSR for Maple Grove from '08!!.......Decent product, but I will never purchace from them again. ......Tom

Had the same kind of issues. But I waited MONTHS. Then gave up and went elsewhere. Total flakes. Must barely be in business...

Sounds like they are not paying their distributors.

I have already gone elsewhere.. if anyone out there needs water pumps, regulators, carb spacers, carb and return spring brackets, anything down to wheelie bar wheels, check into Philadelphia Race Products.. really nice stuff, competitive prices, and they are usually at all D1 area races..

I have a few samples at my trailer for anyone that wants to take a look.. or stop by the Schonberger trailer in the Comp pits and tell them Charlie sent ya..

They just don't have tire pressure gauges.. YET!!!

When I was in the market for a tire guage over a year ago, I contacted CSR at that time and was told they were in transition looking for a new supplier. I tried Jeg's, Summit etc. and noone had one in stock or could get them. I ended up looking around and bought a Intercomp digital guage and I have been very pleased with it.

It took months to get a starter from summit racing , it just kept getting back ordered. I have to say they look nice but I have had problems with them. I went with a mezier starter and have been very impressed.

Thats why there is no CSR sticker on my new car...I've had enough of Lindsey and her family ....did me wrong on contingency.....chased them forever. She told a buddy of mine who also was trying to get paid that she pays the nice people.....the mother actually told him to apologize to her daughter when he questioned their business practices on contingency payouts.......Sometimes what comes around goes around.

I tried for 2 months to buy a water pump. Summit,Jegs,Herbert,CSR Direct, Nickels, tried everywhere was told the same story.
I bought a Meizere.

Same story on a starter too.
I went with a House of Payne. Love it.

This was in 2008-2009
