"Hardly live at all" from the Roxboro CCRA SS/S combo race

In a few minutes I'll be leaving the madness of the NC State-BC game and heading up scenic NC-50 towards Roxboro Motorsports (Timberlake NC). The CCRA is holding a combo race for Stock and Super Stock today. The gates open at 2pm and time trials begin at 4pm. The weather will be beautiful, so come out if you can.

The weather WAS beautiful, and the racing was competitive, though the turnout was kind of underwhelming. Only nine Stock and Super Stock cars made the trip up to Roxboro today; but the racers that did were some of the best.

Thanks for all the good words. It was fun, and I got a lot of practice taking pictures and doing the report. With luck the coverage will improve the turnout for the Finals. I hope to make it back up to Roxboro to do another report.
