Default disc brake pad drag

I just installed front Strange Disc brakes on my drum brake 68 Camaro.I was wondering if you guys put a spring on the pad mount bolt to assist in returning the pistons to eliminate pad drag?

If you do use a spring - you may be surprised the first time you get to the top end in competition and hit the brakes to close the gap only to find the pedal travel waaaayyy to long and braking not what you expected. Yep - happened to me - and yes I did breakout and give the race away. The springs got removed immediately.
