Seeing the 7 event Unleashed schedule announced makes one wonder where they're going wjth this concept . Will this be a replacement for the start,sputter,go 90 catagories or a new category ? If this should make it to National events would class eliminations be sacrificed to make time for it ? I can see the appeal of heads-up racing for the uninitiated modern audience they are trying to attract , but are we heading into a future of Drag Racing reduced to nothing but Pro celebrities and brackets ? I for one hope not !

Curmudgeon, search the forum for unleashed and you'll see a lot of threads about this series. That will catch you up on the prevailing sentiment about the series and it's posturing by NHRA as an alternative to .90 and class racing.
