Default Everyone in protect mode?

I see from the qualifying at 2 points races. A lot of people have forgotten how to drive or tune their cars. Or are in heavy protect mode.
nhra I'm proud of you. So much for your ahfs changes.
Is everybody happy now?

I did not know, you can do that!

Art, I hate to tell you this but the cars are tuned correctly and the drivers know where the stripe is. They are not in protect mode either. They are in "The Afraid Zone" They say differently though, like it's the intelligent thing to do, or I need to hold in case of heads up, or it's a chess move for the ladder, but nonetheless, it is 'The Afraid Zone". Of course with the fine efforts of creating a level playing field with the AHFS and believing manufacture ratings it has brought "The Afraid Zone" to each and every race.

I agree with you. That is the proper name for it. I didn't go because I could not put an untested (slow) program in the car and be able to data log it.
I'm in the afraid zone here at home. Will probably go somewhere where nhra can't see to work on my stuff. Before if I went fast I got 15 hundreths. and that was it. Now with their laundry list. I'm not going to kill the combo in one shot.
I hope those that thought this change up are proud of them selves. I know their ears must be burning. LOL

Congrats to Bob Dennis, and Grace Howell for having the guts to go 1.00 under. Even though I think it was an OOPS moment.
