"Good Ol' Charlie Brown" Video 1993

Can't remember if I posted this before or not. I took this Video clip at the IHRA Fall Nationals at Bristol in 1993. One of my all time favorite super stockers.

Man that brings back memories. The last time I seen that car was at the only IHRA event at Huntsville Dragway in Alabama. I think it was 93 also.

I think you had posted before but that's alright can't see or hear that too many times.
Did you see interview w/ Mike Boyles in Drag Review was good. He's still tough racer and nice guy.

Did anyone notice the car NEVER hit the 2 STEP......the driver actually timed it right and oh yea he used the clutch to change gears.....something I dont think stick cars dont do any more.

WOW!!! That does bring back some fond memories.... I grew up in SW Va and we had a small 1/8th mile track at Elk Creek Virginia.. I remember seeing Mike for many years there and he was tuff then. That was one screaming small block !!!!! He also ran a lot at East Bend Dragway in NC..... Brings a smile to my face to remember those days...

You are right Herb, by the way your dads old Dart is awesome. I had seen the car run at Indy and did not know it had a history.

I'm not familiar with this "Charlie Brown" car. In which class does this car compete? Who drives it? Is he any good?

Have you ever thought about taking up announcing/commentating,maybe even hosting some racing shows I think you could have what it takes! LOL
I always enjoyed seeing your shows.
