Scott McClay 200 Metric 1-2 Shift Adjustment

Turning the bolt on the transmission pan inward as if I was tightening the bolt.....does that shorten the 1-2 shift or lengthen the shift ??? How much does a "turn" effect the RPMs ???

On my McClay one full turn in is a 200RPM increase in shift point
