Really bad deal for everybody in Joplin, MO, hope everybody in the racing family is ok.
A real mess. I feel for anybody there that lost houses, cars, family members. |

Does anyone have any news about any of our racers who may have been caught up in the tornado's path? Jim

I live roughly 15 minutes south of Joplin in Neosho, Missouri. Dad and I were on our way back from Topeka and missed the storm by less than 10 minutes. When they came over the radio and said that cars and trucks needed to avoid I-44 and 249 we were less than 10 miles away at that time. We had no idea of the devastation until I heard about it on the radio. I have clients who have lost homes and businesses. It is very sad indeed for people that have not only lost their homes and jobs but have lost family members or are still searching for family members now.
Thanks for thinking of all of us. Last edited by Michael Compton; 05-23-2011 at 05:28 PM. |
