June 26th, 2011 – The Mid Atlantic Super Gas and Mid Atlantic Super Comp Associations will invade Maple Grove Raceway for the 2nd Annual “Super Circuit Showdown” on July 9th & 10th. MASGA & MASCA will be joined by the High Flying East Coast Stock/Super Stock Series on Sunday along with a few other series.
The information for the Maple Grove Race is as follows. If you would like to park on Friday Night the gates open at 4pm and there is a $10.00 gate fee for that night. You also have the option to Test & Tune that night if you are interested. Gates will open up at 8am on Saturday morning and time trials will begin at 9am with 2 time shots before going into eliminations. Entry fees per day will be $35.00 for Car & Driver, $15.00 for any crew members. MASGA Super Gas entry fee per day - $70.00 (Paid to Leanne or Lucky Luciano) MASCA Super Comp entry fee per day - $65.00 (Paid to Rob Keister) Payouts are based off of the amount of cars that show up, we like to pay $1,000 to the winner based off of 32 Cars. For anyone who has 2 cars and are running Super Gas & Comp, Lex and Anthony have told me they will put something in between the groups so you are not being hot-lapped. Saturday’s schedule looks to be Super Gas, Super Comp & Sunoco Money Trail Racers. Sunday is Super Gas, Super Comp, East Coast Stk/Super Stk & Ram Racing. You can park anywhere you would like except the spots that are reserved for the Bracket Racers but, let’s all try to stay close together. MASGA & MASCA are open to all racers who can run on the 8.90 & 9.90 index. You do not need to be a member to run with the series and everyone is invited to come try their hand out against some of NHRA’s best. MASGA & MASCA run 2 races per weekend and always start out with 2 qualifying shots before being put on a True NHRA Ladder. The Higher Qualifed Car is awarded lane choice for 1st round only and the only difference between the two series is that MASCA runs on a .370 Tree and MASGA runs on a .400 Tree. For information on MASGA please contact Pete Luciano at 1-610-246-6081 or you can e-mail Leanne at leanneluciano@hotmail.com and for MASCA please contact Rob Keister at 1-856-332-2851 or e-mail him at ReKeister@aol.com.
