Stop #3 & 4 in the ASRA schedule are this coming weekend at New England Dragway. We have a double scheduled and the annual Cookout. This is a great chance for Stock and Super Stock racers to enjoy 2 great races and warm up for the LODRS the following weekend.
On top of all the fun and competition, stk/ss racers may leave their rigs at the facility for the lodrs . You do not need to be a member of ASRA to run our events we welcome all stockers and super stockers The cookout gets going Saturday as the race is winding down and continues into the evening. ASRA supplies the burgers, dogs, soda etc, Side dishes and desserts are welcome if you wish to bring something. Check us out here on classracer in the association section and at our website ASRA-NE.COM Look forward to seeing you there, and more details to follow.

The track has let us know we can leave our trailers inside. We have to leave the track, but can stay in the outer lot. They will tell us where to park our trailers sunday night. Hpe to see everyone there. Gary

I think you can get in this weekend on friday night, but you probably will need to pay the fri night spectator fee which is something like 10$ per person, and I think you need to get there by a certain time. I recommend that you call the track and ask. 603 679 8001

I got the impression from her that we could not drop our trailers and leave the track. If anyone has a more definitive answer about this please post. |

For those who may be attending their first ASRA race, this is how we do it.
Qualifiing is based on reaction time, best one is #1 and the redlights go to the bottom. We have a drivers meeting after the last TT and before 1st round so that everybody knows who they are racing and any other facts that we need to pass along. We do have heads-up races and we do weigh cars. We try to post a list by car # of what class that car is entered in and it's minimum weight. That way if one of the B.O.D. is not at the scale the winning driver can weigh and the losing driver can confirm that the weight is correct. Its the drivers responsability to check the ladder for possible heads up races. This info is posted on the ASRA sandwich board that will be in the same location as the drivers meeting. You must have your class on the window before 1st TT. All rules, indexes and car classification are based on NHRA standards. IHRA cars run by IHRA rules and classification and are always welcome. The weekend looks like it's going to be beautiful with temps in the mid 80's and sunshine, lets hope the forecast holds true. See everybody on Saturday. I believe Joe Lombardo's day off is Tuesday. So tomorrow we should be able to get the straight scoop! As far as parking goes, if we are going to be required to move to a different location for the LODRS, we should be given the option to park there this weekend. So Sunday everyone isn't packing up and moving trailers around. Also many of the weekly regulars leave trailers there all year. Why wouldn't we be able to for one week?
