You must be down on the road course.

The last time I ran the National I was pitted under the trees along the entry road. Pretty nice.

The Divisional I ran a few years back I got there late, and pitted right at the entrance to the burnout box, just to the left down the road course.

Pretty lucky I guess.

Good luck anyways!

yeah Jeff good spot we were there with the Sorensens at last years divisional pulled in at 2 am saturday morning just zero PA system. Any fuurther down the road course and it is all uphill to the staging lanes not to mention about as far away from the timing booth as you can get at that track. Bob dont worry about it you andCharlene can win from any pit spot

Man you guys are little babies.... If the facility isn't as nice as Vegas or any Bruton Smith owned track its a piece of crap and its not good enough for you...
Quit your bitching and go to the track and race. With the economy the way it is these days we damn sure can't be picky what tracks we go to or there will be no tracks left to go to.

Thinkin' some of you guys think just cause you have 100k in your race program you're important to "the show". When the fans are coming to the track for Stock/SS you can complain about the pit spots. until than if you like to have fun racing your car quite worrying about something as stupid as a pit spot... Pre-Madonnas...

Where in my comment did I trash Seattle's track or say that because we run S/SS that we should be given the best pit spots. My point is that when you get here early NO MATTER WHAT CLASS YOU RUN the idea is that you are trying to get a good pit spot. No racer can argue that.

Makes sense. That`s how I understood it.

For those who've never raced in the Seattle area you should know that they've been promising major upgrades for years and it is still the worse facility on the NHRA tour...they've improved safety for the road racers ( who keep the place booked most of the spring/summer/fall ) and the NHRA mandated improvements in the shutdown area but the pits simply are terrible for the most part. I don't blame anyone for being upset at waiting for days and getting a crappy spot, NHRA knows exactly how many racers are going to show up and need to appropriately allocate spots.
