Default Only 18 SS cars entered for BRainerd?

Something wrong with that place? Only 5 1/2 days left to enter, right?
Is Min a state that is pulling rigs over to measure length?

I was just looking at the entry list, and it is very light. I'm not a racer, but from reading other threads on other sites, there are tons of sportsman racer complaints regarding NHRA rules, policies, etc towards them which may be one reason for the low number pre-entered.

My question though is this: In looking at the SC and SG pre-entries, there seems to be a ton of them. Why the difference? Do the Stock and SS guys have complaints that the SC and SG guys don't?

Super categories pretty much have a simpler rules structure.Mostly safety with some
restrictions on use of electronic enhancers.

And most of the super catagory racers tend to be younger so they havent been "Enhanced" enough YET !

It is really the economy, the enhancements probably only effect a small percentage. Stock looks pretty good. Only four spots left.

What kind of facility is it? Better than Denver or Seattle? How are the highways up there? Weather sure looks cooler.

Ed, BIR is a great facility! Come on up, with the rain we received this year bring mosquito spray! Oh, it can be a little slow at times so if you are worried about running a second under, this is a good place to race.

I know several regular SS's either broke or not able to attend this year.

That is one place I've always wanted to go. I would like to stop on the way up and pick up Bret and watch him report on the activities at the Zoo. ;~) Looks like the GP's will keep me away and a small thing like not being a NHRA member....
