Hey JC, Guess I'll stay out of this one. But you can see Stan run at the national event in Dallas this weekend. Got my butt kicked a few times by that ole ride.

That car doesn't run the numbers it used to when Scooter had it.

The new owners probably "fixed" all the stuff that was wrong with it.

I know of a engine that my engine builder built that was tearing up the country for awhile until "all the wrong parts and machining" was fixed. Lost about a 1/4 of a second and now ain't so bad!

I catch a little heck for "slowing" my stocker down....funny thing is a few weeks ago I walked a past the barn with doors open.....both my stocker & bracket car had an 8.00 dial-in on the back glass......(stocker would be .700 under with that dial)(1/8th mile)

That car is still pretty cool, but when Scooter worked that car, it was probably the baddest Chevy 2 Stick car on the planet. No disrespect to the current owners. It would have been hard for anyone to improve on it after he had flogged on it.

I get the feeling a few of you are saying Scooter was cheating. All i know is when Stan bought that car he blew up the number 1 engine it came with. That's what i was told.
