Running 1/4 mile at Pittsburgh will help a good bit with the entries for that race.

They've rolled the Pro-Am into the same weekend as the Nitro-Jam at Pittsburgh. Same weekend as the Division 9 Pro-Am at Mooresville!
But yes, it's probably good that the race is being run on the 1/4 mile. The SuperNationals at E'town is also the same weekend! ![]() Lew

Nice, No IHRA Race Scheduled the same weekend as the .90 Nationals / Combo in the Hills event. Pittsburgh the weekend before so once your done there you can come drag everything to Numidia then after Numidia run it up to Skyview.

Now IHRA really has me confused.I thought Pittsburgh was one of the few remaining Division 3 tracks. Now,it is considered Division 1. On top of that, they schedule it the same weekend as NHRA Englishtown? |

I also thought we cut it back to 1/8th because shutdown was too short. I saw several wrecks there. Did they move the starting Line back?

Chip, we've been over this. But here's a refresher.
40 years ago (actually 39, in the fall of 1972), Tommy Ivo ran the first-ever 5 second run in Top Fuel. Probably running around 230-240 mph. Back when the shutdown was much shorter than 2011. In 2011, the shutdown is longer. The brakes, parachutes, etc are better. But 150 mph S/R or 180 mph T/S-T/D can't stop? ![]() ![]() ![]()

looks like they are doing staging lane work. They did some starting line work last year.
