Default 68 Camaro - pushrod & which bore master cylinder?

I've searched and searched and cannot find these answers.
Strange sells a 1.031 and 1.125 bore master cylinder. Their webpage says "assume 4 wheel disc"...

I have 2 piston Baer front disc and stock rear drum brakes.
1. Which size bore master cylinder works best?
2. Will I have to modify the stock brake pedal push rod or just alter the length and move it to the top hole?

Thank you,
Clark

Clark;
I have very close to your same setup (different brand front brakes). I researched this exact question a few years ago. I was told to go with the 1.031 bore Strange MC. It came with a pushrod that I modified to work on my brake arm. Strange has good instructions on how to measure for the best pedal ratio...... on their web site..

Thanks. Also, a buddy told me that Quarter Max sells a U shaped bracket that can be installed as a secondary safety measure to ensure the brake pedal pushrod cannot fall out/down. Any info on that is appreciated.

We made ours, its just a "Z" shaped piece of metal with a hole drilled thru it for the pushrod on the top flat, another on the bottom to bolt it to the firewall.
Took all of ten minutes to make

call Stainless Steel Brake Corp (800-448-7722) and order their one inch bore, Corvette style, cast aluminum master cylinder, part number 0476. I use one on my Camaro Stocker with their four piston comp front calipers and rear drums. it works great.
