Here is another one. VO627 CKZ. Regarding the heads, which are better the 882s or 441s. I assume the 441s as they are slightly larger in volume.
block..........3970010 block casting date....F264 Heads....333882 heads casting date....N264 pad near alternator.......VO627 CKZ CKZ 1974 350 4 spd trans. J L48 195 4 Vette

Several answers come up for that code all are Corvette engines
V=Flint 06= June 27= 27th day of the month CKZ= 1972 LT-1, HD 4 speed 255HP 1973 L48, 4 speed 190HP 1974 L48 4speed 195 HP 1977 L48, 4 speed 180 HP you're gonna hafta check the block casting date/part number to say which year it is for sure--FED387 |

probably an over the counter replacement engine/block or a left over engine that was put into a "next year" vehicle say a 1969 into a 1970 --since the engine code for 1970 would not be correct on a 1969 engine they used a X to denote the change---most likely an LT-1 but you'll hafta check the heads/intake to be sure
