Question All B.S aside

all B.S aside....
I was adding up all the 1/10ths and .05 hundredths I was going to pick up from this, that and the other thing I have purchased over the years and it has come to my attention that me E/SA car should be running in 6.00 range?? YEAAAAHHHHAA!!

Of all the things you have bought for your car over the years.
What parts made the biggest difference in performance E.T. or MPH.
For me it would be Radial slicks, headers, heads. other than that ??????????

Radials and alum driveshaft (which you can't have...lol) are slam dunk .08
Best bang for the buck in my opinion

Under factored car is the best!

Thumbs up Re: All B.S aside

Tri Y headers or really: 4, into 2, into 1, for the Big Block Chevy was by far the biggest performance enhancement I've ever seen with my Fathers 396ci..

Enhancement, there is yet another word ruined by our leaders..Hope.. Whatever!

I believe we had to put weight back in the front of the car after that change...Darn it! That's another word that is ruined, ugh!

2nd place in this category was after the final Superlight Kilgore T400 was tweaked plus, the low volume pump which seems to have everybody’s attention.

3rd was the Drag Race radials.

Now, I’m hoping the 1/2 pound extra of reciprocating mass out of the piston and rods will be #1...

Has Anyone here on the board lightened their reciprocating assembly by 230 Grams?

What kind of performance increase did it give you?

And, this was given only us by speacial paper work right before Walley Parks died. We've just been saving it.. ;-)

Charle Bob Downing made the negotiation and closed the deal... LOL ;-)

Red Line oil, Hoosier slicks, Dean Oliver carb...and a 5lb bag of ice never hurt.

I am guessing that hiting 3rd and 4th gears (instead of 1-2-5 shifts) will make a big differance for my heap.

The best thing I did was bring my car down south it picked up "3 tenths"
and not one dime of new parts.

Till last "week" new ring gear, pinion, spool. And one new turbo Action Transmission two passes. All back in the car ready for Gainesville next week. "Having fun" nice bunch of racers down south, they will give you there last two gallons of VP just to help you out, Thanks Wally!!!

I found out many years ago that an electric water pump drive was worth .3 on my V6 Buick. After that it got tougher.

Well, the best thing we did once was kinda by mistake and it did,nt cost us any cash leave the sparkplugs out of the Trans-Amobile over the winter,,,,, Hell it picked up a tenth and a half first time out the next season. It,s sort of a healing process................
