Default Columbus points race

For anyone thinking about going to Columbus this coming weekend the weather looks awesome for this time of year. Highs in the upper 80's and lows in the 60's with zero chance of rain.

And after the mess they had there last year, the track switched to Track Bite( VHT).We went up testing a few weeks back, and traction was not a problem.I hear for the High horsepower stuff, its still not that great, but we thought it was plenty good.......

We hope you stop by Grandpa's Garage at exit 59 I-70 Springfield, Oh. as you travel to or from the race. We are continuing to fill up with dealers selling cars and parts, model trains and cars.
Lots of parking area for trailers.
Thanks, Dick Butler

I was just told @ work that this weekend, starting Friday, and ending Sunday, there is going to be a huge outdoor show at Legion Valley. The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers., Bruce Hornsby and the Range, among others. I was told they have sold over 40 thousand tickets. That place is just east of trails on interstate 70 right ON the interstate.Traffic could be a mess and police will be everywhere . So be careful. The bands are going to play till 1 o clock( in the morning!) and then pick back up the following day where they left off. I used to go to them ( so did John) back a couple decades ago. They quit having them for a while but now their back.....If any of you old hippies get beat early you can always stop over ....!
