Here is some up-to-date info:
Upcoming is our biggest race of the season, the Can-Am Stock/SuperStock Labour Day Nationals. We are, at present, finalizing details as the weekend fast approaches. In addition to our regular awards, we will have special awards for first round “closest to the dial” , “best reaction time” sponsored by RaceCar Services, Welddare Metalworks Ltd, ERD,and Scugog Collision. Also, our Tilburg "bounty hunter award" for Sunday and Dilts Piston Hydraulics award for "beat the points leader". A leather jacket will go to the member with the highest total points for the weekend sponsored by Queenston Group Insurance. Other special awards are forthcoming. There will be a free roast beef dinner Saturday night sponsored by Karbelt Pickering and Kevin Dundas in the tent supplied by JR and Monica Taylor of Drumbo Tent. Also, many draw prizes have been donated to share with the entrants. Here is a link to the TMP/DSE proposed schedule. www.sportsmanracingseries.ca We look forward to seeing you all as well as many that have not raced much this year to come out and enjoy a great weekend of racing, Can-Am Stock/SuperStock style. See you soon. FJ |

We came up to spectate Saturday and were there from 8am until approx. 10pm.The Can Am portion of the race was really good. There were more cars than I had predicted. We had a great time looking closely at many of the "class" cars. The announcing was very well done and "preacher Mike" had the track real sticky.
Is there a link to any photos from this past weekend ? Thanks Tim H. |
