Has anyone ever used or is still using an old style MSD 7AL? Someone near me has one for very cheap and I was thinking about getting it. This is an old version of the 7AL prior to the 7AL-2s and 7AL-3s. From what I've found these boxes were built in the1970s.
Tech West guys any feedback on these units? Thanks

Yep, That is all MSD would modify for my odd fire V-6... (now discontinued) Got Pat to do his magic and seems to have helped the program. First thing I noticed was a lot less spark scatter at high RPM . (Problem with V-6) I have 2 of the Odd fire modified versions and a brand new 7AL and a used 7AL Boxes (non modified) horded back...
