460 BBC Super Class Motor

454+.030= 461...4.281 bore X 4.0 Stroke, 6.135 Rod
Good block, 2 bolt
Manley 13 to 1 pistons with GM 7/16" dimple rods with new ARP bolts
Brand new Eagle 4340 crank -.010 and -.010 Ext Balanced
Herbert roller cam CB-6G very good throttle stop cam, doesn't break parts, around .700 lift and brand new roller lifters from Howards
Manley pushrods and Crane HD Wide body roller rockers and a new stud girdle. The cylinder heads are GM #077 ALUMINUM heads with the ports and chambers done up, bronze guides, 2.19 X 1.88 X 3/8" stainless valves. This was the last generation of these heads and they work well! Nice new roller springs 1.550 and steel retainers
Hex adjust roller timing chain set
ATI SFI Balancer and SFI flexplate installed
New B&B Steel pan, Edlebrock 454R manifold and cast aluminum valve covers.

Before this motor was freshened it ran 8.30's at 158 with a gas dominator in a 1850lb dragster turning just under 7000 rpm at the stripe.
This motor was professionally assembled with new rings, bearings, gaskets, honed, etc. in Jan 06 and not run at all, it is my spare motor. It has been sealed, oiled up and turned over with a wrench every couple of weeks. It is time to move it to a new home, new motor coming!
I can deliever this motor to any Division 1 race OR I can handle shipping it to anywhere in the 48 States.......
