Default Contingency

Does anyone know if Turbo Action pays contingency for NHRA races? They mention contingency on their warranty paperwork but I don't see them on NHRA's list. Their website doesn't have any info either.

Yep, Paul pays, he's just one of the many who pay without paying the big fees to NHRA. Since you run National Opens up there in D3 I would suggest just calling him to check on particulars.

Great products and service too!

Great way to get money to the racers pocket without the red tape. We have and will continue to reward our racers the same way.

Thanks for the info, I'll contact them today. I just bought one of their shifters with a clean neutral to try this year. I like buying from companies that support the racers, they deserve our business.

That's good to hear, I was really comfortable with my Quarter Stick but I needed something with a clean neutral and wasn't having any luck reaching PPP. I know Turbo Action has been around forever, must be a reason.

Turbo Action, quick payment and t-shirts when I collected a few years ago for my shifter. Great to deal with as well. Just a simple form and serial number.

I've known Paul and Hallie since 1975 and they are the best people to work with. The only thing to be aware of is the age of the product. I put my Cheetah shifter in my car back in 1982 and it still works great. Their stuff just doesn't wear out! However, when I won the E-town Divisional race a few years ago, I had to put a new shifter in so that I would get paid the contingency money. This is true for a lot of the manufacturers today. The dilemma that we face is do you want to spend $300 or so for something to only get $50 or $100 back in contingency. But that's a story for another day.

DragRaceResults pays. $25 buy-in for the year gets you the pair of decals, $50 contingency payout to win Nationals, Divisionals, or bracket races over $1,500. Easy as it gets. More details here: http://www.dragracestore.com/DRR-Con...imate-2013.htm

Turbo Action shifter has worked flawlessly since 1991! Wish I could say the same thing about all my other equipment.
