Default Pontiac crank info?

The Pontiac-Oakland car museum here in Downtown Pontiac is looking for a 389 crankshaft for a 59 389 tri power motor they are building for a display. They are wondering if a later year 326-455 crank would fit in the block.they just need the front snout to be compatible for balancer, and pulley mounting. Can anyone shed some light on this? thanks

I think the snout is shorter on the '59 era cranks, but i believe they will interchange... call 765 534-4140 Terry Spidel will be able to give you info on this...
