Default Congrats to Piedmont winners and RU

Congrats to Joel Warren and Mark Young on their win and RU, respectively, in SS at Piedmont yesterday, and to Mark on winning the remainder of the Rockingham race.
Also to Terry Taylor and Junior Bryant on the win and RU in Stock. Didn't rain a drop here in Wake Forest all day, and hope yall were just as lucky...

Congrats to the class winners and runner ups at Piedmont/Rockingham. Great drivers and great working cars. See you all at Farmington.

Congratulations guys. Glad to see you were able to get it in. I bet on rain... and lost. Wish I had gone.
Nice work also to Kevin and the Piedmont crew.

So did they finish the whole event on Saturday? Must have been quite a marathon! Threat of rain kept me away also.

We finished up around 9 PM Saturday night. Other than a short burst of rain on Friday afternoon, (after which Kevin and his crew came out and did an amazing job of drying and prepping the track so we got another two-and-a-half hours of time trials) and a deluge that blew through at oh-dark-thirty Saturday morning, the bad weather stayed away. It WAS extremely warm and humid most of the day on Saturday, with the DA approaching 4000 feet.

So compared to some of the weekends we've had to endure this season so far, this one wasn't that terrible.

Wow almost got to make it.
Sounded like Richmond hot and humid last year.
Still made a wise decision to not go though.
