That's a feat that will be hard for any sportsman class racer to match.. maybe ever(?). I think that's the biggest story at this race. Maybe the season. One of the very, very few sportsman drivers good enough to do it full time for a living. A Long way from 1994 Springs ..after beating Greg Stanfield...and longer from leaving Xerox . I hope they profile him with a little bit more time when the telecast of the sportsman classes air on ESPN2 in coming week(s)?. The average drag fan who may tune in ..should see and know..more about a hard working (from the first of February to the first of November..) Racer who deserves some big attention at least once as one interview with a JFR segment would get. |

Congrats, Dan. I've got to admit, it was really cool watching him mow them down this weekend in both eliminators. It was nice spending some time in the lanes with him Friday and Saturday while waiting for my friend's S/G car to go up. A great guy to talk to.
