Myron you are right I have had 3 sets of Holeshot wheels one set is about 12 years old and Joe and Marlene were the best ever to deal with. I also had some Motor Wheel flys they were cool but hard to keep looking good. I have 2 front super tricks now one is kinda polished the other original wish some one could get them like they were new???? Any ideas?
The super tricks bring back lots of memories for me I bought a set of fronts from JC Penny in 1971 I was 16 yrs. old from there catalog yep they had a speed section just like Jegs or Summit now but not as big. I also went to a place in Columbus Ga. called the racing pit and bought a set of front tires they were Formula 1 Superstock I'm sure some old goats like me remember them? |

lol Yea, we had a JC Penny speed shop here in Daytona too. I drove to West Palm Beach once just to buy stuff from a Nationwise (Rod Shop) store. |

Clearcoat will work on the Tricks but don't do it on the flys. Magnesium will oxidize even with clearcoat on it. A buddy did a set of magnesium wheels on a cobra kitcar and they started turning white under the clear. A real pain to fix that screwup.

Yes I had some Fly magnesium front runners re-finished and cleared... oxidized underneath the clear... good news was the clear pealed off in sheets. Gibbs works very well.
