We pretty much knew what outcome was going to be,Randall had planned on going 1.100 or so under, if that did the job OK if not then OK.
He was disappointed in his light,he said Marty passed him just after 1000' and MPH tells the rest. Congratulations to Marty Buth Mike Taylor 3601 |

My brother is pitted next to Randall at Indy. The story I got was Randall had to rerun him after he beat him once. He said Marty's timer in his lane did not turn off at the end of the run so they had to rerun. The first run Randall had a light on him and beat him. The rerun was the other way around, Marty had the better light. Was a rerun necessary since he clearly was the winner???

Randall did think he was in front in first race, but after going back and looking at ticket and doing the math he changed his mind, he told me he was in front of Marty by .005 @ 1000' but did'nt see any way he could of kept that lead for the last 320'.
I would liked to see the truck win w/my engine in it,but we did'nt see any reason to get into peeing contest, when the mustang probaly has a little bit bigger bladder.LOL Mike Taylor 3601 |

Congradulations Marty !
That's 2 years in a row winning class at Indy for the Buth brothers in a Q/SA 2.3 Ford.

Mike, your reply speaks volumes for your credibility. I have known Randall for years and they don't come no better. It is refreshing to hear people explain the facts rather than make an excuse. Awesome effort for you guys! Don Jackson
