Hey Tom - you should do a "Live From Pierce" thread today.
It must be pretty crazy around your place. I heard yesterday
there was a C-130 from the UAE that landed at Norfolk.

$600 for a Yard Stick - $425 for a key blank - HUGE MONEY for the cars that were never ever taken care of... I'd say the Auctioneer did her job very well!

Been watching on "H" channel..
With all due respect to all car people!

I wish I could have gone to look at every thing, it is truly a once in a lifetime event.
It make me wonder where the old car market is going??
I think this is a sign.... of some kind. If you Know what I'm saying.

Unhappy Re: Lambert Auction

I think its crazy. Some of that stuff was bringing stupid money, and I didn't see anything there that was really rare and highly sought after???

loved the show but those two where morons. should have been more show less talk (these guys knew nothing about cars) Tom thanks for telling us about show. i thought the best buy was 4.4 mile pace car. would have loved to see all of the 55-59 two door posts and hardtops.

There's another day of the Auction tomorrow, probably the less desirable project car's and hulks that had the tree's growing up through them.

I thought the show was interesting, although I agree most of the hammer prices didn't reflect the "market value" of the cars, just the Lambrecht connection to them. The format of the auction, car's laid out in a soybean field, made it difficult to photograph each of the vehicles, but it was better than the on-line broadcast from the auction company, which showed NO cars or trucks, but followed the auctioneer's "float" around the field!

The one lot I did like was the 1964 Belair Station Wagon with incredibly low mileage. But at $21,000.00, I'll keep looking!
