Default Tether question

My header collectors on my nova are close to the frame, if I make a bracket that bolts to the frame and collector do I still have to go with the tether.

Smile Re: Tether question

I believe you should email Ritch Bowers, at the NHRA Division 3, and ask him. Now is the time to ask these questions. He usually responds quickly, and sometimes sends your question further up the ladder. My collectors have always been bolted to the frame, and the tech guys liked the way it was done. But that doesn't mean squat, for the implemantion of the new rule. I believe some applications should require them, where the collector is not supported by any thing. Door cars that are doing what your are wanting to do should be exempt. Please post if you get any response

Angry Re: Tether question

Well I sent my question to NHRA tech, they said I would have to submit a picture of my bracket assy. to them to see if it would be accepted or not. Or I could weld them that's not going to happen.
