Thank you Stock/SS racers!

From the management at Raceway Park we thank all of the Stock and SS racers who came to race Oct 27 at the combo event. When I accepted this position the first thing I said was that we are going to have a Stock/SS combo and thankfully we were able to do just that and it was a huge success.

We had 80 cars, paid $1500 to win and $650 to runner up (plus round money back to 1/8ths) and, with two time shots, were done by a little after 6pm. We tried our best to keep the track as good as it could be and thankfully it was not very cold, which was a huge plus.

Thank you to Dave and Gloria Ley for working hard from start to finish (they are class act people!) and to have this event and thank you to all of my RP staff, who stayed on top of things all day and never slowed down one bit. It was a terrific event and I cant wait to do it again next year.

Congrats to Doug Linke for the huge win and to Anthony Fetch for his great runner up finish. It was a blast watching all of you!
