We made the trip down to Gainesville to get our end of the season racing fix in

. Let me first say, from the minute we arrived until it was time to leave we were treated awesome. The track manager came out and spent about an hour talking to us, the track employees we polite and professional answering all our questions with smiles. The same goes for NHRA division II. This was the first time I met with the tech director and as I walked up to him he had a big smile on his face stuck his hand out to shake mine and said "Glad you are here!" We had the same response from the rest of his team. There was even one Division I tech on site named Kurt. You can bet we will be back for next year's race.
Well the weather was warm the first 2 days there around 80-85 degrees. The DA was between 2000-2300 Ft. Anyway Don Fezell decided to see if he could set the record in AAA stick. Fezell ran an 8.70@157mph to set the record. Don Belles also set the record in Super Stock B Auto with an 8.71@154mph. Kicking myself in the butt right now for not staying up all night to get the cars back together after tear down. The air on Sunday was .12-.14 better the next day. We tested our new Roush P-51 Mustang. Prior to Gainesville, the car only made two test hits. We need to dial in the suspension some but the car is running great.
Thanks,
