Question ,
Rule book says " Trunk mounted battery legal " So, I'll assume that no other stock location mounted battery is required ? Just one in the trunk and that's it? Also, I don't see any links to cylinder head runner volumes on the IHRA site. Does a list exist? or use the NHRA information? Thanks in advance for your advice

Yes, trunk only is acceptable in a crate motor car. You just have to add a kill switch.
Runner and chamber specs are the same as NHRA based on the head casting numbers. Numbers for any superceeded/allowed heads that are IHRA only would need to be checked through one of the IHRA tech officials.
