This is the whole point. I have no complaint about the new cars as I have part in them. Just make us all play with the same rules. Horsepower for all that earn it. But this is way to simple in a place where the sanctioning body just wants to convolute it to the point where no one knows what the real answer is.

Please refer to all my other posts regarding FX cars in Stock...

I keep trying but nobody is listening......

Or they hear the message and don't care because it adversely affects their private agenda.....

The factory race cars have a huge advantage over cars built in the 60's, 70's & 80's just from a technology standpoint. For example distributorless ignitions, roller camshafts, overall vehicle weight, etc. They make big power with small cubic inch right out of the factory. But the thing that really grinds me is the fact that these cars have bogus non-production coil over suspensions and are not using the stock type components they come out of the factory with. And how about camshafts with .600 lift + plus fuel injection units that are so much more efficient and make more power over a carburetor.

I am OK with the technology aspect with the late model cars, but they should be held to the same rules as the older cars right down to the suspensions and engine specs. The combos they race need to be available to the general public bought from a dealer.

These cars are purpose built race cars and nowhere reflective of a vehicle that comes off of the showroom floor.

I agree with a comment somone made, the factory cars should be in a modified production class not stock eliminator.

Only two more problems, easily fixed :

2, No new classes (besides the one in section three.) No new indexes
NO heads up runs anytime, anywhere, between FX and non FX cars for at least five years.

3, ALL FX cars run class (where stock class is run) as FX Combo. Stick and auto combined..
Now you have a Factory showcase where ever class is run .
At the most ,NHRA is out one more trophies
You're right Bob..personal agendas driving this..again.

I don't need credit for anything..Anyone can take these ideas and submit them as their own..I don't care one way or the other.
If it won't work, why not?
If it's not simple enough for NHRA, then what is?
Remember, K-I-S-Stocker racer.
It has to be easy and cheap for NHRA, for them to even consider it

First point was going to be ..All cars above CC go to Super Stock, but then I figured that with an FX Combo class , all the cars would be mid 8's to mid 10's anyway, so let 'em go at it in a showcase for The Big Three

Costs the FX racer for a little bit of vinyl..FX or X..
NHRA actually saves themselves a couple of class trophies

Capisce'?
