Hello, I am seeking information on this 1964 Plymouth belvedere 426 max wedge. Originally, it was silver with red interior and 4 speed. From what I know, it raced at the thunderbird race track in henderson, Nevada and the Dixie elks dragway in St George's Utah in 1964 by William Tmmons. It also ran at the Stardust in 1966. From there, it was painted blue and raced at the Utica/rome, fulton and Esta dragways in 1968 - 1974 by Herm Schremmer,Basil Kester and Koy Lilly under the moniker REBELS TWO. It was painted black somewhere around 1977. In 1985, it was purchased by Dave Johnson and Al giacchi. They campained it 4 two years. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
am especially interestedin the Thunderbird raceway and the Stardust International in Las Vegas from 1964 - 1966. thanks Please see album or max wedge thread for pics. |
