I have a 71 duster with stock wheelwells and tubs. i have moved the springs in with the 1/2" offset kit. Will i be able to fit a 15x10 wheel with a 5.5" BS in there, and which size slick will fit? i see Mickey has a 28x9, i am not sure i can fit anything bigger than an 88" circumfrence or a 12.5 section width. This is a high to mid 11 second bracket/ street car.

We routinely run 10.5 x 30 (NOT W) on a 10 x 15 rim with 5 inch BS with stock tubs.
You may or may not have to reroll fender lip slightly depending on ride HT. You will probably have to roll front of fender bottom for 29 or 30 tall tire depending on rear end placement. Our stockers without offset kit or tubs comfortably run 94 Cir. and 9 wide tires with the rear ends pretty low.

I was able to fit a Phoenix 10.5x29.5 bias ply slick under my Dart Sport with the Mopar 3/4" offset kit, rolled wheelwell lips and trimmed openings in the front. It was tight, body height and wheeel offset had to be "just right" as well. It occasionally rubbed on the rolled fender lips and the rear portion of the wheel opening. They were on 10" or 11" rims, but I forgot the offset.
I have 30"x9" Hoosier radials on 10" rims now.

Goodyear 4457 9 x 30 will fit - no sweat even without offset hangers.
We even run them on both our late 60s Valiants that have much smaller fender wells. The radials do not grow as much and have a narrower center section( I Think about 12.5 inches ). Again 10 inch rim with 5 BS or 8 with 4. You can add another 1/2 inch BS with the offset Kit ( Move it about .8 despite what Mopar used to claim. Calvert makes a narrow rear spring which would help(I do not have it)

I doubt that a 30" tall tire will fit in a duster took the tape out tonight and measured. will stick with a 28" tall tire.

Like I said before.............we run them in all our A body stockers. So does everybody else that
runs them in stock eliminator. To run a shorter tire on a duster stocker would put you at a performance disadvantage (Unless of course you have a Six or 318 2 Barrel). Most drag cars require very minor rolling of fender lips if for no other reason than safety and being able to turn the car quickly if required. Most race car further require Careful selection of back spacing to optimize tire size..................That is just part of racing to spend the time to get it right and make everything work. Give me a Email or phone # and I will be happy to send you a few pictures and maybe then you will believe me. I raced a SS/IA Duster with 10.5/30 Radials and just the offset shackle kit for many years.
