CCRA S/SS results from St. Patrick's Classic

Michelle Martel earned the semifinal bye run with a .009 bulb against Myron Piatek, and went on to defeat AJ Currie in the finals.

Martel topped a field of 25 cars in the Carolina Class Racer Association season opener.

AJ Currie wheeled Mark Beaver's Camaro to the finals.

Myron Piatek earned the bye run for Round 2 with low reaction time in the first frame, but the field came out even numbered due to breakage. He won Round 2 also with low R/T to sit atop the ladder for Round 3!

David Chiles drew the Bye first round. Loose Rocker Promotions added to the CCRA purse this weekend by awarding a $100 NitroPlate Gift Certificate to every Bye car! Also, the Winner and R/U each received a gift certificate from Painless Performance Products.

Corey Lucas vs Chip Johnson

Ed Longhany vs Steve Lucas. Longhany put the Duster straight up in the air on the second qualifying run and was still able to leg it out to the end. They tightened 'er up a little after that...!

Mike Moller got a big headstart over Kevin Locklear and held on for the win.

Ryan Hardison was doing crazy wheelstands all weekend, and made it to the semifinals

Don Dimeler vs Tracy Robbins. Don also ran the Footbrake class this weekend, and sat on the Bye one round with a perfect .000 light!

Mike Longhany vs Bob Bagley

David Zimmerman vs Jeff Longhany
