Question 1962 Chrysler Newport ???

We just picked up a pristine 1962 Chrysler Newport 2 door and I need FRONT BRAKE DRUMS-- this car has the 11x 2 1/2 brakes--- looked all over the internet cannot locate any--- Any one got any ideas on where to find 2 drums--- want new no used drums please-- PM me with the results -- Thank you to all---FED 387

If you don't find any new ones, there is probably somebody that can re-line yours. Use to be fairly common and with all the restoration stuff going on I would bet you can find someone.
My bad I thought you were looking for shoes.

nope plenty of guys have shoes--- 62 was a one year deal apparently on the drums---thanx anyway FED 387

Are the front and rear drums the same?
Some people retrofit the rear drums by pressing out the hub and retrofitting drums from other applications.

Not that I am aware of supposedly 2 different drums but will examine more closely --- just may work

The best way to find what you are looking for is to buy the latest Hemmings Motor News and look under Chrysler Mopar Parts. I saw several ads for brake parts, you want to look for C Body parts. Good luck!
