This week on WHEELZ UP RADIO Presented by SASSY RACING ENGINES, join host Chris Barnes, Mike Carr and Rob Keister as they talk the latest news and notes from the world of drag racing. This week the trio will talk to the owner of Port-A-Tree timing systems Al Smyth, Division 3 Super Stock Standout Brad Zaskowski and look forward to the NHRA tour as they roll into Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in sunny Chandler, Az.
The first guest coming up on Wednesday's show is the co-owner of Port-A-Tree timing systems Al Smyth. Not only is Al the co-owner of Port-A-Tree but, is also the pilot of the SS/AH 1968 Hemi Barracuda in Super Stock Competition. Calling Lebanon Valley Dragway his home Al, started racing while in college and has never left. To date, Al has 7 class wins in the 68 Cuda in Super Stock. Al is also the proud father of young stock standout, daughter Allison and his son, Stephen who travel the east coast running the NHRA Tour with wife Sue.
Next up, we turn our attention to Division 3 Super Stock Stand out Brad Zaskowski. Zaskowski, is a muti-time National & Division event winner in his Zaskowski Builders 1987 Camaro. Along with his father Bill and Brother Kevin, Brad travels around the North Central Division terrorizing the Super Stock class. Brad has been the 2010 & 2012 Division 3 Super Stock Champion and finished off 2015 with a third place finish and lead the National series points up till late in the season. Brad and his team will be gearing up for a trip down south and the start of the 2016 season at Gainesville Dragway and the Division 2 season opener along with the Amalie Oil Gatornationals.
