Default Chootout AGAIN

Some how all the pics and info that get posted about the Tim Hebert/Joe Teuton memorial "Chootout" keeps getting deleted. I guess something is against the rules on here?

SUPER STOCK HEMI “CHOOTOUT” ADDED TO JEGS SPORTSNATIONALS
Glendora, Calif. - NHRA, Beech Bend Raceway, and the Division Four Good Guys are pleased to announce that the annual Tim Hebert/Big Joe Super Stock Hemi “Chootout” has partnered with Southland Dodge and Mopar Performance for the 2016 event. The event will be held at the JEGS SPORTSnationals presented by Quick Fuel, Memorial Day weekend in Bowling Green, Ky., during Saturday’s Super Stock class eliminations, with qualifying being held on Friday.

Tim Hebert was a long time NHRA D-4 racer who passed away suddenly at age 53 on June 2, 2013 after participating in the NHRA National Event in Englishtown, N.J. His orange and white 1968 Barracuda has been seen at NHRA and Hemi Shootout events throughout the United States for decades and will be participating in the event with his son Rory at the wheel.

Big Joe Teuton passed away April 25th at the age of 75 and was a long time NHRA Hemi racer and hall of fame inductee. His son Lil’ Joe will be driving one of the Southland Dodge entries.

“If you have a Hemi car or enjoy watching Hemi cars, be at Beech Bend and participate in the celebration of my Dad and Tim’s racing accomplishments,” said long time Southland Dodge son/teammate Lil’ Joe Teuton.

The D4 Good Guys, Southland Dodge (Jeff and Joe Teuton), Kent Energy (Steve Kent), Paillot Bros. Construction (Joe & Jerry Paillot), Engines Inc (Lloyd Wofford), Henson Family Dealerships (Fred Henson), Cleve Stewart Racing (Cleve Stewart), 3001 (Stephen Hebert), Mopar Performance and Beech Bend Raceway Parkare proud sponsors of the event with upwards of twenty entries expected to compete for $5000 in cash and prizes.

Me too, but all I saw were airfields, sub bases, launch pads between mountains, etc. Google Earth has better resolution that what we had back then.

Thanks Patsy & Larry. Rick Locker is the top car. If you look real close at the paint you may remember it as the DeFrank & Cohen car from several yars back. John and Ben Holt have worked this car back to current specs. The bottom car has some real history. Now driven by Stephen Yantus. Some will remember it as the Wayne & Scott Hutton car that Tony DePillo used to drive. It is a Garry Jennings chassis also brought up to date by the Holts. It was orginally Harold Duttons "Drag Hag" car when it first came out. Way back in the day. Locker is racing today at the LODRS race in Norwalk and Yantus is at the Chrysler Power Classic in Columbus, Ohio
