Default Tinted Windows legal in SS?

Check out "Indiana John's" new ride. Is NHRA now allowing tinted windows?

Danny Gracia gave me the privledge of scrapping off the tint of my AF/S Shelby Z Daytona one year before being allowed to compete! Rulebook is specific on this, no tinting allowed. This is so officials can see what's going on inside the car. If it's factory dark windows, that's the way it is.

Hey Guys, windows were like that when I got it. When I had the chassis inspected I asked about the windows and was advised they were OK. BUT this Saturday after someone from NHRA seen your post the advised me to remove it. And I will . Thanks for looking at my new car

Hey Irvin, I didn't mean to cause any trouble. I was just curious if NHRA had changed the rule being that factories do tint windows so that technically makes it stock appearing. Good luck w/ the new ride!
