This picture will back up his statement saying he literally grew up in the sport. Here, he is maintaining his dads (Jerry Caro) SS/B car at Southland Dragways at a young age.

I used to race his Dad. Never got to know his Dad, but you won't meet a finer man than James. Very happy to see him win this one.
