Default 2nd gen Camaro front suspension

I am going freshen the front end of a 79 Camaro Stocker. There are many choices for parts, from what I`ve read on here. It looks to me like Moog offset shafts and Afco upper and lower bushings are priced reasonably.
I have a question about ball joints .Both upper and lower are offered .5 long.
Should I choose only one to be long (upper?) or both. Will this help to prevent bump steer ? Will shock travel be a problem?
Thanks
