Bolts might have been changed before. I'll try and find images of carillo rods and maybe send them a pic. I wouldn't mind finding a used one!

I've sent pics to Crower, Carillo and Manley to see what they say.
We did locate 1 rod but the big end is slightly different. The shop attempted to machine the big end to match the design and weight and he didn't have a cutter that would make a scratch in it. ![]() You can see the difference in the big end, the rod we found is 563 grams. |

Those look like Crower to me. I have the same rod in one of my engines and it has the same markings on the side of the crank bore. Crower is real good to work with. Good rods too.

So far Manley replied and thought it's a Crower.
Someone said the F stands for Federal mogul bearings only. |

I Have Manley Tour lites here and they have a different rod cap.
I would say that a Crower rod when they stamp there rods its always a letter then a number of the rods. The letter is for the set. |

Crower it is, I sent them photos and they ID'd it. They said it's an older rod and I've sent them weight and specs to see if they have one. Also have a used parts dealer says he has some.
