Default Florida boy does good.

Way to go Merrill Schrimscher, up to your old tricks again I see. Starting the new season with a win.

Then Daniel Young & you in the second race, two FL boys. Congrats to both of you.

Hey Daniel, where did you get your competition number printed, it looks great.

Another FL boy who did good was Troy Williams Jr, races Stock sometimes.

Yes I know that Mark Nowicki is listed as living in FL too, he just retired from MI.

Congratulations to all the winners in Immokalee.

Talking Re: Florida boy does good.

Congrats to the Boys from the Swamps. I grew up in the Tampa Bay area, so it's nice to see guys from my home state do well.

I found this photo that I took many years ago at Belle Rose.

The picture is from the U/SA shootout at Belle Rose. All the U/SA cars were pitted together.

Your right Bob, is that your Capri in the background, and Summerton's Olds. What a time that was. Eating crawfish, meeting all them wonderful Cajun boys, drinking, partying with Pat Joffrion, seeing The Captain setting up Daran the night before, meeting all the other U/SA cars, did I mention eating crawfish, getting killer shirts from you, foot racing on the starting line, and participating in the first Cajun Sportsnationals.

FUN TIMES.

A few other cars parked in that area. Enjoy.

Wish I could have been there. I was entered but I broke my engine at the gators.

Ron,
Yes, that looks like my "Bogus Ford" in the background.

Bob, I can handle that bogus ford (mercury) of yours, I've seen its tail lights before. But, please do not bring that Caddy out.

Sure was fun wasn't it. Sorry Beebe couldn't make it. Heck, we even had a west coast car there and it wasn't Paul Wong, instead it was a Matador that looked like a rock.

Someday we should have another "slug shootout".

Ron, Bruce bought his wagon back last summer and plans on restoring it. I hope to be testing by the end of the summer. Long live U/SA.
