Default Div. 6 Stock Eliminator Rd. 4

Looks like Alan Messer (D/S) and Jeff Parker (E/S) both dialed way under what either could run and both dialed the same ET so they could run heads up. Kudos to both of them! Comment says the race was decided by 4 inches. Love those heads-up opportunities!

Dwight,

I don't know Jeff, but I do know Alan. He is in this for the FUN. Of course he's able to do that because he's "filthy rich". Right Al? Great race! Congrats.

Jerry -

Does that mean if you do not do this for for fun, you are supposed to make money?

In the 2nd round there was supposed to be a heads up between Alan Messer and Dane McIntosh but it never happened. Dane towed his car to the head of the staging lanes and was DQ'ed by the div director. Alan (who beat me in the 3rd round) is a class guy. He told them not to disqualify Dane as he wanted to run the heads up race. But Jonathon made the decision. Tough call for Dane.

Dwight,

No. But even though some race for a living, I'd hope that they have fun too. However, I really doubt that they'd run the race as Al & Jeff did -- purely to make it a FUN race.

thats a good question. is it legal to tow the car to a friend's pit area who happens to be ALOT closer to the staging area? Or tow the car to within 100' of staging then drive it in.

I think this was VERY COOL! I still like the idea of ..if the lower class car "thinks " he's quicker he can put "up" on the windshield & it's a heads-up run! ya know like (example) say ya have a J/SA running a K/SA the J car is running 12.20 the K car is running 12.teens ...the K car puts UP on the windsheild & it's a heads-up run! I think it would make things more.....well let's say FUN!

Very innovative idea Greg! It's like the lower-classed car is saying, "I'm calling you out!" Very cool!

Bob, our division director made the "RIGHT" call! That is a black and white rule about towing your car. I don't know the guy that got tossed but I'm sure this wasn't his first rodeo. Tommy
