Just curious if this engine exists with this combination:
Small block chevy 795 cfm Q-Jet 1979 or older If it does, could you tell me the engine combination? Thanks, Chris Hill |

1976 350-165 in different bodies and the Corvette 350-180. There are others that also exist but the blueprint guide is wrong such as the 1979 Corvette L-82 that NHRA says should have the 750 CFM ( 1.093 Venturi ) when in actuality it came with the 800CFM ( 1.218 venturi ) carburetor # 17059211 of which I have had three. Although it doesn't meet your criteria, the 1980 Corvette 350-190 in in the same boat as the 1979. I'm sure there are others , these are the ones I know for sure. Danny

Thanks for the info. I'm considering putting a V-8 in the truck for an IHRA GT stock class and would like to keep a SB Chevy architecture and big Q-Jet like the v-6 has. Thanks, Last edited by Chris Hill; 09-05-2007 at 10:50 PM. |
