"Live From" 3rd Annual Badger Summer Classic!!

This is my first attempt at a "Live From" for a Midwest Class Racers event. There has been a lot of buzz about the upcoming weekend at Rock Falls Raceway in Eau Claire, WI. Please feel free to add anything to this thread of your experience of this race. I have been at a steady rush since this is my first race outing for 2018. Excited to head through the rolling hills of Western Wisconsin this afternoon. Remember the gates open at 5:00PM but stacking can occur on the Spectator side until the gates open. June 9-10 WEEKEND Update - We are very excited about the upcoming race weekend and looking forward to seeing everyone again and meeting the new racers/crew/fans who have either never been to Rock Falls or its been a long time. That being said, a few info things to pass along.

1. Stacking will take place on the Spectator Side of the Racetrack all day today, Friday, June 8. Enter at Gate 3. Form 2 lines around the horseshoe to exit out of Gate 2. If the lines start to get to long please pull into the field and stack there as we cannot have people parked out on the road.

2. Gates will open at 5 p.m. for Pit Side Parking and will remain open until 9 p.m. If you arrive AFTER 9 you will stack or park on the Spectator Side of the Track until Gates Re-Open at 7 a.m. Saturday morning.

3. Tech Cards will be sold starting at 5:30 p.m. tonight.

4. Tech Inspection will also start between 5:30-6 p.m. and will run until around 8:45 p.m.

5. Gates will re-open Saturday morning at 7 a.m.

6. One (1) hour of time runs (weather permitting) will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. on Saturday morning. NO CAR is allowed to make MORE THAN 2 time runs during this time frame.

7. Run Order for both days (changed if need be) and starting at 9 a.m. will be: Index Racing, Nostalgia Super Stockers, Stock/Super Stock Combo & Midwest Nostalgia Pro Stockers. 2 Qualifying Sessions for Stock/Super Stock Combo and 3 for Index & Nostalgia Super Stockers (again ALL weather and time permitting).

8. There will be a Potluck Dinner Saturday Evening for all Racers and Crew near the Rock Falls Concession Stand. Time to be announced. Midwest Factory Finishes and Rock Falls Raceway will be providing the pulled pork, beef, buns, beans, etc. Feel free to bring a dish to pass as well as your own beverage.

Live Update: 5:45AM

Arrived at 7:45 PM last night with a lot of people parked and ready for the weekend here at the Rock. The Rock Falls Staff has the place looking great for this event. As always the Weather Forecast is always changing but cloudy this morning with no breeze. There starting this morning at 8:00 AM with an open time trial session with qualifying starting at 9:00 AM. Last night checked with the tower and 67 Cars have completed their tech card already with more trailers rolling in the gate.
